About the artist: Carlos Sánchez-Álamo is born in Spain and works in France. He trained under Ana Ruiz-Larrea in Madrid, studied at the École Estienne in Paris and worked as an assistant to the binding artists François Brindeau and Florent Rousseau at the Ateliers d'Arts Appliqués du Vésinet (AAAV), where he teaches courses.
