About the artist: Gonzaga Gil-Delgado Friginal lives and works in Madrid in his own studio. In 1991 he began his training as a bookbinder and book restorer on the second career path. From 1991 onwards, he actively and repeatedly attended a whole series of training and further training courses, some with prominent trainers, especially in France with François Brindeau, Ana Ruiz Larrea, Florent Rousseau, Godelieve Dupin De Saint Cyr and Carlos Sanchez-Alamo. His participation in national and international exhibitions and competitions confirms his skills as a binding artist. In addition to his studio in Madrid, he maintains an impressive collection of playing cards.
